Career Success Secrets For Women In The Workplace
Wouldn’t it be nice to not be interrupted by male colleagues when you speak?
Would you like to learn what to do when you are talked down to?
Tired of having to prove yourself over and over again?
Are you not getting the same opportunities or promotions as your male counterparts & don’t know what to do about it?
What would it feel like to be winning at work?
Would you like solutions to the issues, conflict, barriers, and frustration you face in your career or workplace? One easy place to start is by getting a copy of my book, “Winning At Work: Career Success Secrets for Women in the Workplace” which is available on www.amazon.com in paperback and kindle.
Here’s what women are saying about “Winning At Work”:
This book is chocked full of ideas for women working in a men’s world. It has lots of personal experiences, too. It is very well written! Women have bought this interesting book for themselves and then purchased more for their daughters. Woman to Woman even has journal pages to write down your thoughts and to think about situations you might have in similar events. It is easy reading. You will wonder why someone hasn’t written a book like this a long time ago. It may have been so helpful during those stressful times. It is never too late to pick up this book and learn, grow, and become more confident in your workplace! I enjoyed it so!
Listen to Chapter 1 From “Winning at Work”
“One very hot August afternoon, the kind of day where sweat pours down your face even when you’re standing still. I was at work when I suddenly found myself toe-to-toe in a confrontation in disagreement with someone who was not taking me seriously and talking down to me. He had the nerve to tell me, “Don’t get your panties in a wad”, in front of a large group of people. And worse, he also asked, “Shouldn’t you be at home taking care of your babies anyway?”.
My heart was beating so fast and my face was flushed as this individual continued to slam my intelligence. The feeling of flight or fight washed over me. Sweat poured down my face.”
This was me in 2013 just a few months after accepting a new management position when conflict & communication in the workplace was not my strong suit.
I went from being a timid employee to one who learned how to successfully navigate the common issues women face in the workplace resulting in a 25-year successful career in upper management and other influential positions in a male-dominated organization.
I know first hand how hard it is for women to succeed in the workplace. In my 25 year career, I’ve mentored, coached, and counseled many women who have struggled too.
Because of my success and what I’ve learned, I can’t think of a better way to give back than to provide you with a pragmatic resource for the tools, solutions, and strategies you need to be successful in the very career you desire. This is you’ll find in my book, “Winning at Work”. And, you’ll get the full story I started above… cause there’s more to it. What happened next? You’ll find out. You’ll never believe the words that came out of my mouth.
